Eeegahds! "Horizontal matting"!

A friend of ours - Puli & my -and former Lhasa Aapso owner, warned of  horizontal matting and told of how the matts pinched the skin and caused scratching.
Well ... wanting to be sure to eliminate all OTHER possible causes of scratching, I checked Obee's coat.  I waas aghast and ashamed I had not checked before!  I had forgotten the work I went to to develop his first mature Puli-coat!  Obee must haver been trying to comb out his coat with his teeth!  There was no skin redness; just tiny hairs joined in a carpet over his skin!  A spray bottle of cold water (750 mL) with a tbsp of Olive oil + some "Tea Tree Leave-in Conditioner" (PARNEVU - for African-American hair & dreadlocks) = undercoat rake, with tymes set finger width apart did hte job in a hour!  Just like the good old days of Dog Show preparations!

IMMUNOTHERAPY - Day 107 - 0.8 mL 'YELLOW' serum
                                    - pre-itchiness level - 3
