Training will not stop!

OK, so the small puncture is now a small scab; the bruising has quickly faded and all that remains is a 'sore stiffness' - oh, and the Ministry of Health's At-Home-Quaratine from other dogs - and "routine"with every reported dog bite (so "widdle & poopie walks" are restricted to condo's property!).
We will BOTH miss our Friday morning Pack Walks - Rotteweiller, Chocolate Lab & Obee!   Monday 30 October will be our last day of "quarantine"!

Because hsis physical exertion has been dramatically reduced (and I am battling a Head cold!) we have been focusing on in-home training routines.  5-Minute Sessions teaching:
                            >  not to bark @ strange noises
and             > to pick things up off floor

ALL involving the"Click & Treat" method - de-sensitization for the knocking
and
rewarding wanted behaviour with the "fetching"

I will still demand obedience and find myself expecting more prompt behaviour-upon-demand as I am no longer regarding Obee's time-in-uniform as an exhausting stress-"or" in his life.

We are SIMPLY NOT going to jeopardize the reputation of the many SERVICE DOGS already out there!
We will still strive to gather Working Dogs in Toronto  (online Group) and learn what we can while building confidence - in both Obee & myself!
