Puli's Humans were at a 'final daughter's'-wedding, while Obee was allowed to run, collar-less and free for three days! There was hesitation-to-board, as, because of his Immunotherapy, Obee had not been innoculated for any Forest mites or "goobies"; however, Bordatella & Rabies plus written acknowledgement from Vet was all that was needed!
Dog-less for three days - Wow?!?!!
Having the Wedding & Reception at the Resort you are staying was GREAT!
Manicure/Pedicure @ DEERHURST and walk down for the ceremony, lakeside - no driving!
Once again, it was but a few dances with Bride's mother (though, no jumping about to MeatLoaf!) and a couple with Husband that had me crippled with pain the next day!
Doubling-up on CELEBREX works for now; but I anxiously await corrective surgery; having exhausted all non-invasive alternatives!!
This growing "old"- and staying active - is not for the faint of heart (OK so 'The Collision' did'nt help; ?but still ...!)!
I could only "sleep-in' until 06h45 on teh Sunday - Grrrr.! - so we set out to pick up the Puli by noon.
Who knows WHOSE dogs he boarded with and WHAT they did; but, when he slept during the entire ride home I knew he had a 'ball'!
We have yet to encounter anything like HAPPY TAILS Resort & Boarding and will gladly make plans for Italy, knowing Obee would be at home hear while we travel!
Life before, during and after Brain Injury: "Letting go and Letting God". My muddled brain has, out of necessity, become more reliant on my the more visual "animal brain". All things brains, dogs and God! (D-O-G is G-O-D spelled backwards!) Life has become Joy filled ... all because of Godès creatures! ThIS second Puli - white, bitch who loves people! - is helping me learn about Life this second time around!
