The scentts are more intriguing at the Stables (at least this human thinks!) and work here begins after March Break! I like to imagine the time staying in the car is more relaxing - one scent as opposed to a melange-of-scents - for canine partner, Obee. "We" can wait until the farm is ready to become a farm with the addition of a Service dog-turned working Sheepdog! (... and we will see if humans be changed by learning "new behaviours")?!
Animal behaviour cannot be changed in one day; changed to become predictable behaviour, that is! Cuddling rabbits (my Cuddly Bunny Blog) has become included as necessary activity and I will pop-in to recognize changes in behaviours observed; perhaps twice a month (I'll offer nail clipping if necessary!)
With Animal Behaviour Institute class discussions beginning in a week, I only have one day per week to volunteer; so, assisting with Therapeutic Riding lessons appears to be most feasible.
Looks like spring is around the corner and I cannot think of a better way to solidify my newly found small town-confidence with working within my comfort-zone with horses and those of the Differently Abled!
