"Katya' did not arrive until 17h Monday; but attempting to train for a Potty Place, I was up every three hours donning coveralls & boots!
It wasn't until this afternoon that she actually ' widdled' as soon as she got off the deck (the "Potty Place" is actually in our little 'forest' 15' away from the deck ... but we celebrated her accomplishment just the same!
NOW if we can just get her POOPING in the same Place!
I carried her a little ways but she walked most of the Crecsent with Obee & I ... and no 'poopies'.
We "trained" for RECALL on the front porch; Obee TARGETING ... no poopies.
We wandered to the back yard, the Pulik tied together, and talked to the neighbours ... no poopies.
We watered the plantings and reviewed RECALLS-with-name on the WET grass (not having thought of reversing the tasks!)
FINALLY, we came in ... and there it was ... perfectly rounded & firm, colour as it should be; lying right in front of the bathroom doorway was a COLD pile of POOP!
She had already GONE!!!
Cleaning it up and spraying the hallway with disinfectant (our scent!) I proceeded to prepare for bed.
"What the ...!"
Only 14 pounds and this little puppy's bowels are moving an amount equivalent to a 3 year old - our 3 yr. old Puli!
04h Arising tomorrow ... let us have dreams of a Poop-Free-Day in the house for DAY 2!
Oh, but I AM learning SO MUCH ... I love it all!
