I HAD been letting him run " loose" until recent "bullying of 10-month old labradour pups - X 2!!
He later picked upon a Great Dane puppy (9 months) and I took him out of the Park!
TODAY, I let him romp with 8'-line dragging behind him. The newest KDP-member, a 4-yr.-old Boston Terrier, immediately told Obee who was Boss!
Being a ' lover & not a fighter' Obee chose to run away - but did not wait for the B. Terrier to become untangled from his leash!
The 35 lb. Puli was startled with the weight of a 10 lb Terrier dragging behind him and he only went FASTER!!
KDP-Manager, Glenn did't know he could run so fast!
Boston Terrier suffered skin-burns on his hind leg - the leg wound-up in leash - but appeared to recover otherwise.
The next meeting will be anxiously awaited; but, with Obee on leash and self-imposed PROBATION not much is expected!
NEW RULE: No more dragging leashes behind, while dogs are running loose!
FOR OBEE: No more of-leash enjoyment at the " Of Leash-dog-Park"!!
It will be a great venue for proofing RECALLS and Downs (backing-off of Sheep!)
May is Lambing season ... THEN our Turn with the Sheep!
