Life before, during and after Brain Injury: "Letting go and Letting God". My muddled brain has, out of necessity, become more reliant on my the more visual "animal brain". All things brains, dogs and God! (D-O-G is G-O-D spelled backwards!) Life has become Joy filled ... all because of Godès creatures! ThIS second Puli - white, bitch who loves people! - is helping me learn about Life this second time around!

'UPing the ante on Training
KINGSWAY DOG PARK is a great venue for training!
BRAVO Terry HORRIGAN!
... and two Pulik in the class!
Even though the basic commands of 'SIT', 'DOWN' and 'STAY' have been mastered; doing them with the specific hand movements (later to be incorporated as hand signal!) was a challenge for this Handler! The abundance of puppies and un-trained dogs is a great distraction for Obee - instead of always being amongst highly trained and obedient dogs!
It was the 'blowing-off-steam" AFTERWARDS that made the afternoon!
Terry's relaxed presence in the Park was a help for students & non-students alike.
It is only the first class, but I can already tell the difference in attitudes-to-training when the Trainer has a Herding vs. Retrieving breed!!
