Having spent a good part of the Non-dog-Training/playing-time this weekend, nestled in our Nest and re-reading CONTROL UNLEASHED, by Leslie McDevitt, I have decided and will suggest to Patko & Family that we attempt to curb his At-the-Door aggression.
> Conditioning a relaxed response > Reading your dog - learning his ' biofeedback"
> Working with thresholds (I may have to ask Ms. McDevitt about this one!)
and > re-frame the picture (doorbell ringing)
The Goldilocks Rule & Premack Principle I will also get clarification on!
HOPEFULLY the 7-hour seminar, entitled CONTROL UNLEASHED - given by DAYTRIPPER Training in Little Britian, Ontario, June 12, 2010 - will be able to demonstrate the above.
