An 8-Hour Puli Work Day!

Whiddle-Wander this morning with the camera, in hopes of getting good background for a 'pose' ... background of DIRT! Not a bad "Free-stack", though! We get to practice in a Ring once a week; random 'poses' on command to perfect the Gorgeous day, but spent the morning INSIDE 'cleaning house' ! Obee's "Place" of choice is out on the back deck, lying in peaceful tolerance of the "Paranoid Poodle" in the yard next door and the three Yip-Yap's in the other, both sides disturbing the the sunny morn with frantic-having-never-seen-the-world-outside barking!
What did we do to deserve such a 'Laid-back' Puli; although, I hear it has a LOT to do with our Spirit & nature!!:)

Barb, "I", got my calendar-wires crossed, AND, thinking today was the 15 April, I 'saddled-up' Obee and rode down to the STARBUCKS-with-afternoon-sun - about 6km, ALL downhill - 20 minutes!
Well, with the KINGSWAY DOG PARK just behind the Plaza ... we could not drive home without a visit and chance to train with dog-distraction! We only had to turn the corner for Obee to break-into a steady canter, pulling myself on the bike with the Bus-Buggy in tow! 'Bus-Buggy' is used for crossing the busy intersections - the Puli rides inside; ALSO for riding the City Buses!
Training for five minutes was not difficult as there were only two dogs outside in the 14h sunshine (cool breeze made me glad to have my winter-vest on!)
... but no sooner had Management realize were here, were ALL of the Day Care dogs let outside - Great Dane puppy (10 months!), German Shepherd puppy (8 months), Retrievers & Hounds!
It did not take long before Obee was taking 'time-outs-from-play' ! We watered-up and headed back home -the longest, but less steep, way home UPHILL!
Not quite an hour to get back! I've got two years before I can boast of doing
"50 in 50" - one referring to five decades of life; the other referring to minutes in saddle!
Here's to hoping both Puli & BLOG are around to celebrate THAT!
