Well, camping on Lake Ontario, on the Sugust Long Weekend - with restricted access et all - was BORING!
Cottage country on Lac Cayamant - 2 hours N of Ottawa - was GREAT!
Morning "Whiddle-Wanders" were done - tout sol and the evening walks were exhausting with ALL the smells!
I was eating twice as much as normal and my People had to go into town to buy MORE!
Following all the 'human-things' (boats) on the water was one thing ... next thing, I know I am on the water (cargo hole of a kayak!) Barb said "Stay"and I stayed - for the whole cruise!
What a great way to start the day!
Wind picked-up and waters were choppy the next days; but the scents that blew by - I kept guard and notified my people with ANY strange 'human-oid' noise!
It was sad packing-up to leave but got to enjoy brief walks as we made Stops on the 5-hour ride to P'boro.
Oh, those leash-free days!
Life before, during and after Brain Injury: "Letting go and Letting God". My muddled brain has, out of necessity, become more reliant on my the more visual "animal brain". All things brains, dogs and God! (D-O-G is G-O-D spelled backwards!) Life has become Joy filled ... all because of Godès creatures! ThIS second Puli - white, bitch who loves people! - is helping me learn about Life this second time around!
